Éimear's song 'Tommy' reached the semi-finals of the UK Songwriting Competition 2011 with a score of 8. This means it was on the borderline of the finals. Her other entry song 'This Time' was Commended.
Éimear's song 'Plans' playing on this page, was the featured song for the pop category of the UK/Ireland 'Music Crowns' competition on March 1st.

It has the wonderful rhythmic tones of Mixi Toal from Newry, on the bodhran & is underpinned by the funky bass grooves of 'The Drifter's' ex-guitarist, Wayne Morgan. The guitarist is Len Whitehead.
